Service

Chemence understands the importance of technical and engineering support to liquid plate making.  For this reason we have a team of dedicated chemists, engineers and product specialists at the disposal of our customers.

Technical Support

Our PhD Chemists have years of valuable experience in ultra-violet curing technology.  They ensure that the needs of both new and existing customers are fully satisfied.  Technical data sheets, material safety data sheets, application specific technical literature, new product development and performance testing are routinely handled.

Engineering Support

Our dedicated photopolymer engineers are familiar with all aspects of the plate making systems and their processes.  We offer full engineering support, carried out by HNC Qualified Electro-mechanical Engineers, to ensure the smooth running of all machinery.

Whilst we manufacture our own Chemence Verbatim branded equipment, our photopolymer engineers are also experienced with other brands of liquid processing machinery.  This means that we can provide customers with full engineering support without the need to change equipment.

The level of service offered is flexible to our customer’s needs and can range from yearly maintenance visits to bi-monthly support appointments.  The cost of this service is dependent on the agreement with individual customers.  We believe such visits are necessary as part of our PAC (Photopolymer Asset Care) and to identify the machine’s needs before they occur.  The team are also on hand for emergency call-outs.  Our primary concern is to have the plate making system up and running in the shortest possible time.

When new plate-making equipment is purchased, a pre-installation site survey is carried out to ensure the suitability of the location and that all necessary facilities are available.  A CAD machine layout is then produced for the customer’s approval.
Our engineers will be on-site for the installation of the equipment and train the operators to ensure correct, safe and efficient use of the machinery.

Our engineers have local sources established for the majority of components in all liquid photopolymer machinery.  This means that the lead times and the cost of replacement parts are often significantly reduced.

(Our engineers are also experienced in the refurbishment of used machinery.  They are able to recondition older plate making equipment to nearly new condition for continued efficient plate making).

Product Specialists

Our commercial team are trained in all aspects of the flexographic industry to fully understand the requirements of our customers.  Each customer has a dedicated Account Manager with close links to the technical and engineering departments to ensure quick, efficient communication and rapid, effective problem solving.

(In addition to the Account Manager, customers will be at the disposal of the full commercial team, technical, R&D and engineering teams.)
