Chemence Anacure 2793
Chemence Anacure 2793 is a range of four grades of anaerobic sealants specifically designed for sealing leaking joints on gas mains
Anacure 2793L (Lime)
Very low viscosity penetrating sealant, ideal for all lead yarn joints. Will prime (wet out) large lead yarn joints and penetrate tightly packed yarns
Anacure 2793Y (Yellow)
Low viscosity penetrating sealant, also used on lead yarn joints where it gives good yarn penetration. Particularly useful for smaller diameter joints.
Anacure 2793B (Blue)
First choice for mechanical joints. This sealant both swells the rubber and cures in the leak pathways.
Anacure 2793R (Red)
High viscosity thixotropic sealant used for plugging large leaks. Best injected just above and behind the leak. This grade is not recommended for the whole joint treatment. Only use after one or more of the other grades has been used for whole joint treatment.
Anacure 2793 Accelerators
Anacure turbo accelerators are available for specialist applications where normal Chemence Anacure 2793 fails to seal the joint. Available for both through the lead and back of socket application.
